Good Morning, Here’s a New Animals as Leaders Song Called “Lippincott”

  • Axl Rosenberg

At the start of Animals as Leaders’ new song, “Lippincott,” it seems like a perfect lil’ ditty for the morning: kinda upbeat n’ optimistic sounding, as though you were walking to work, sun on your face, wind in your hair, whistling a pleasant melody, an animated bird perched atop your shoulder.

Then the storm clouds gather, the sun goes away, the wind becomes violent, it starts to pour, and the animated bird is struck by lightning… and that’s when shit gets really disturbing.

I love this song.
