Sevendust’s “Under it All” Breathes Life Into You

I misspoke last week when I called Sevendust’s new, crowdfunded album, Time Travelers & Bonfires, a collection of acoustic re-recordings of the band’s old songs. That’s only half true — six of the release’s twelve tracks are acoustic re-recordings, but half of ’em are brand new songs. My apologies for the error!

But this is terrific news. Because it means we get six new Sevendust songs! And now the band has released one of those six songs, “Under it All”! In keeping with the half-acoustic theme, it’s very mellow, but that shouldn’t lessen anyone’s appreciation for it. Sevendust have always had a real talent for the pretty stuff.
