Nu-Metal Revival Apocalypse Update: (Hed)P.E. and SOiL Announce Co-Headlining Tour
“Without music, life would be a mistake,” Nietzsche once wrote. But he never had to live in a world with (Hed)P.E. and SOiL. Not to be outdone by Nine Inch Nails and Soungarden, these two nu-metal relics have just announced a co-headlining tour. (No word on who the opener is, but it’s probably Adema or whatever band Fred Durst’s little brother was in.) Granted, (Hed)P.E. and SOiL will be playing venues a fraction of the size of those housing the NIN/Soundgarden tour, but still. The fact that these two bands can combine forces and attract an audience larger than a couple of stray cats is proof that Satan does exist, and he’s standing by and ready to take your order. “Your souls for a co-headlining tour? Sure! Just sign here.”
I’m posting the dates below solely so that you can avoid being in the same zip code the night of the show, lest you even accidentally hear some of these groups’ soul crippling tripe.
