Control Your Mind with Truckfighters’ New Video for “Mind Control”

I’ve been pretty much obsessed with Truckfighters’ new album Universe since I saw the band crush through a short but energetic daytime set at SXSW in March. I’d foolishly assumed they were just another typical beardo stoner rock band, but no, not so, at all! Universe has songs for days, riffs for miles and stage energy for eons. Seeing them headline last week in Brooklyn was just the catharsis I needed to rock out to all those songs I now love so much, and the band is just so godamned fun to watch! Especially guitarist Dango, who runs around the stage making cock-eyed faces at the crowd like a man possessed by the spirit of Dio himself.

Check out the new video for Universe opening track “Mind Control.” This song perfectly encapsulates what Truckfighters are all about, and the video is an entertaining watch.
