The Atlas Moth aren’t just a band, they’re storytellers, and their latest release, The Old Believer, isn’t just an album, it’s a journey. “City of Light,” the seventh of that record’s ten tracks, represents but a sliver of that journey… but what a sliver it is! Hallucinatory, mystical, somber, expansive and evocative, “City of Light” provides more textures in five minutes than most entire albums being churned out by the characterless hordes. We could not be more impressed.

MetalSucks is proud to debut “City of Light” below. The Old Believer comes out June 10 on Profound Lore. You can, and should, pre-order it here. The band hits the road with Boris and SubRosa starting in July; get dates here.
