Chimaira to Tour with The Plot In You, Upon This Dawning, Allegaeon, and Silence The Messenger

Chimaira have announced their next U.S. trek: it’ll kick off in August, and will feature support from The Plot In You, Upon This Dawning, Allegaeon, and Silence The Messenger. I don’t think I like any of those support bands save for Allegaeon, but as I’ve said many times before, I’d go see Chimaira play with Raffi, so whatever. I’m sad this tour is not coming within driving distance of me.

I’m also shocked — SHOCKED — to see that Chimaira will not be a part of Seattle Hempfest. That’s like a pizza party and not inviting Dino Cazares. So bizarre. I misunderstood the itinerary — Chimaira will play Seattle Hempfest, but the rest of the package will not. Sorry!
