Oy!  It’s time to pay tribute (ha) to the greatest American art form of all time — no, I’m not talking about JAZZ or reality television — what else could I possibly be referring to other than the bloody mash-up?!?!?

Sure, club DJs have been mashing it up for decades now, but of course a whole new crop of music manipulators has risen and co-opted the mash-up for their very own.

Yes, we’ve heard what the two greatest rock n’ roll bands sound like all mashed up together……..we’ve even seen what happens when a live band mashes two groups’ styles & songs up (plenty by these guys below), but there are so many weirder combos out there by now…
