Full Album Debut: Vermin Womb’s Permanence

Vermin Womb - PermanenceClinging to the Trees of a Forest Fire is the dead, smoldering husk their name portended. That’s sad news, but it has a happy ending: thanks to Vermin Womb, the band has been reincarnated, not just with a new moniker, but with a new drummer, as well (Patrick Fiorentio joins CTTTOAFF guitarist/vocalist Ethan McCarthy and bassist Zachary Harlan). And although you might not even have thought this to be possible, Vermin Womb is about a million times uglier, filthier, and more vicious than CTTTOAFF. These dudes don’t wanna leave you clinging to the trees; they wanna leave you hanging from the trees… by your own intestines.

Needless to say, we have quickly become obsessed with this band here at MetalSucks.

So we are beyond stoked to be premiering the Denver trio’s debut EP, Permanence, which you can stream below! It is almost certainly the most brutal thing you will hear this week. We know you’re gonna love it as much as we do.

As of today, you can download a digital version of the EP for free, an offer of which you will most certainly want to take advantage. Throatruiner Records will release a 12″ edition on September 1; U.S. fans can pre-order that here, and Europeans can pre-order it here. DO IT!!!
