CRTxMetalSucks 2014 Live Showcase

The recording sessions for Converse Rubber Tracks x MetalSucks 2014 have officially come to a close. Five unsigned bands — Resilience, Bardus, Blackest, Fulgora and Extinction A.D. [now signed!] — each spent a day at the state-of-the-art Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn, NY laying down tracks with esteemed producer Will Putney completely free of charge while Axl and Vince looked on, nodded in approval, and — for at least one band — gave back rubs. We cannot wait to share the results of those sessions with you in the coming weeks!

In the meantime we have a very special announcement: as promised, the bands from CRTxMetalSucks 2014 will be performing live at a very special showcase. But here’s the kicker: Municipal Waste will be headlining! And the show will be completely free! At Saint Vitus! On August 14th! We’re so excited we can hardly contain ourselves. We’re very sad to report that Fulgora won’t be able to make it, but the four other bands will just have to rock extra hard to compensate.

Admission will be granted on an RSVP basis. MetalSucks will announce RSVP instructions on August 1st. RSVP does not guarantee entry: we anticipate a huge demand for this show, so make sure you show up early if you want to get in. Stay tuned!
