Nicolas Cage’s Son Weston is Still Making Bad Metal
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Weston Cage, son of famous actor Nicolas, whose silly theatrics, public fight with Tommy Lee and crappy music with Eyes of Noctum were a blip on the metal radar a few years back. I guess there was that appearance at the Golden Gods black carpet earlier this year… which seemed oddly timed.
But now he’s back! Apparently he’s moved on from Eyes of Noctum, has shortened his preferred name from Weston to Wes, changed his sound a bit to something a bit more mookish and straight-forward that’s he’s calling “Ghost Metal,” and has a new single out called “Tell Me Why (Matriarch Of Misery).” Don’t worry, it’s still terrible.
Look, I feel bad for the guy: it can’t be easy being born to one of the most famous actors of the past two decades, forced to live in his shadow. But the fact is that were it not for his father’s fame, Weston’s music wouldn’t attract any attention whatsoever.
