Metal Grasshopper, Episode 2: Phil Anselmo Doesn’t Suck at Metal, but Dave Hill Does

Pat Morita and Ralph Macchio these two are not. In The Karate Kid, Mr. Miyagi teaches Daniel-san how to fight so he can face his bully and defeat him. In Metal Grasshopper, the Miyagi character is the bully.

In episode 2 of the new web series (watch the premiere episode here), we open with Dave being awakened with a dick punch from Phil, and it’s all downhill from there. One part metal sensei and one part internment camp re-education torturer, Phil’s methods are primitive but effective in teaching naïve Dave how to headbang properly, how to execute various metal vocal techniques, and the subtle art of making a fucking awesome salad.

Watch it if for no other reason than to see what happens when Dave touches the Sword of Ghouls. Master Phil is not amused.
