Learn All About What Happens Inside Your Body When You Exercise… in Death Metal Form

Last year we got hip to filmmaker / death metal fan / med student Joseph B., a student at the University of Manchester, who combined all of his passions into one with Death Medical, a death metal project that — you guessed it — creates music videos based around very scientific subject matter pertaining to the inner working of the human body. Death Medical’s video about heart disease and stroke — super-metal topics! — are originally what hooked us, but his videos about sex hormones and how our bodies process calcium (?!) were equally entertaining. A med student who writes solid death metal AND produces entertaining videos… Whodathunk it? Where was this guy last time I went to the doctor’s office??

Death Medical is finally back after a semester-long hiatus. Today’s topic: what happens inside our heart and lungs when we exercise. At least I think that’s what this video is about.
