Surprise! Faith No More Set For Heavy Montreal 2015!

Faith No More 2014

In the last month or so, Faith No More has announced appearances at huge fests in far-off places like France, Czech Republic, Australia, and Japan. That’s exciting because until a couple months ago, FNM’s reunion seemed destined for an early death. But it’s kinda stressful, again, to twiddle our thumbs in wait for a FNM concert to take place in our hemisphere. Sure, there was a surprise mini-gig at a fancy record store in San Francisco in December and Coachella 2010, but that’s not exactly meeting us half way. Business is business. We can only wait.

But for some, the days of hoping and watching are kinda over: FNM has just confirmed for Heavy Montreal in August 2015. Presumably a near-headline slot, FNM’s appearance is just the next in many existing reasons to attend HVYMTL, a representation of the fest’s classy, sunny, no-mess vibe, and a huge favor to fans in the midwest and eastern US. Plus, this date hints at more action in major US markets (at least) this year. Plus plus, it implies a summer release date for their upcoming album. Plus plus plus, we at MetalSucks always attend Heavy, so you, dear reader, will get the real scoop on their show for better or worse. Know a travel agent? Time to get that motherfucker on the phone!
