Sure, the below trailer for Slipknot’s appearance at Download Fest — which features the band, masks donned, getting ready to go on stage before a show — is kinda neat. It captures one of those moments that fans are rarely privy to. Does it deserve its own dedicated post today? Probably not, but you guys collectively lose your shit every time we post about Slipknot, and it’s a slow news day. So hey! — here’s a video of Slipknot getting ready to go on stage! Enjoy!

On another note, Download Festival is a fantastic experience — Axl and I went in 2006 — and I highly recommend going if any Americans reading this have yet to experience the Euro summer festival scene (or even if they have). Sure, the festival’s lineup has gone decidedly more mainstream metal in the past few years, but there’s always something for everyone, and this year looks like it’ll be no different.
