“Guerilla Guitar Repair”: Watch Dragonforce’s Guitar Tech Repair Herman Li’s Axe with Superglue
Dragonforce guitarist Herman Li recently broke the headstock on his guitar on a mic stand while leaping through the air, y’know, like guitar heroes do.
Not the biggest deal in the world… except the band had a fly-in, fly-out show to play in Chile, which meant they didn’t have access to all of their usual gear, which meant this guitar needed to be repaired, and fast.
Fret not, though, Dragonforce fans — the band’s tech, Adriano Sérgio of Guitar Rehab, was able to come to the rescue with a repair job that is positively MacGyver-esque. Even if you don’t like Dragonforce, you gotta find this impressive.
