KEN Mode are “Blessed”

Noisey has premiered “Blessed,” the debut single from KEN Mode’s Success, via the below music video. The plodding, mostly spoken-word track, which is somewhat reminiscent of “The Terror Pulse” from 2013’s Entrench, is an interesting choice as Success’ best foot to put forward; it’s not a bad song or anything, but it’s not exactly the kinda chaotic, jump-in-da-pit-right-now wall of noise for which KEN Mode are known. I wonder if this represents the feel of the entire album, or if there are other songs which are a little more in the vein of the KEN Mode that sounds like their only goal is render humanity extinct?
