Killswitch Engage Will Tour with… Rise Against and Letlive?

As I was just saying, Killswitch Engage are a treat to see live: they’re just so much FUN! Sometimes I forget, and then I see them live for the first time in a while and I’m like, “Oh, yeah, Killswitch Engage. FUCK YES!”

So this summer I will have my enthusiasm amped up and ready to go when Killswitch Engage hit the road, knowing full well what I’m getting into before I walk into the venue. They’ll be supporting Rise Against, which is a surprise to me — I had no idea Rise Against were so huge, but I guess they’re a big deal? I hardly know anything about them other than that their guitarist riffs mightily in Vanishing Life. Letlive will be opening, another band about whom I know basically nothing. I suppose this is Killswitch Engage’s attempt at reaching into the tangential Warped Tour market, which they’ve certainly dabbled in before. It’s a far cry from the metal tours they’re usually on, and I guess they feel like they’ve tapped that market out on this touring cycle.
