Listen to a New Lamb of God Song, “512,” Right Now

I know Vince wasn’t so impressed with the first single from Lamb of God’s Sturm Und Drang, “Still Echoes,” but I couldn’t disagree with his assessment more. (Hey, we can all be friends and not agree all the time!) Between that and the second single from the album, “512,” it sounds to me like Sturm Und Drang could be the best album LoG have made since Sacrament.

Has their sound changed any? Not a lick! Are these songs good? Yes! The riffs rule, the hooks rule, Mark Morton’s guitar solo rules, Chris Adler rules… the band might be going the AC/DC route of “Let’s basically never change,” but at least they’re not going the AC/DC route of “Let’s write increasingly boring versions of our old material.”
