Hey, It’s Pantera’s “Cowboys From Hell” Played on the Ukulele

As much as I want to be over the whole “brutal song played on non-brutal instrument” video trend, there’s something about Pantera on a ukulele that’s just impossible to resist. That this version was done by Rob Scallon, whose arrangements are always expertly crafted and whose videos are endlessly entertaining, doesn’t make it any easier to pass up.

And never before has the main riff from “Cowboys From Hell” sounded so friggin’ cute! I’d say Dimebag is rolling over in his grave, except everything I’ve ever heard about Dimebag suggests he’d see the humor in it and totally get on board.
