New Lamb of God Song “Overlord,” New Music Video, New Clean Singing

First thing’s first: the new Lamb of God song “Overlord” is a HUGE departure for the band. It’s got by far the most clean singing ever to be present in a Lamb of God song.

I’m sure plenty of people are gonna hate, but I applaud: not only does it show the band is pushing forward and trying new things rather than treading over the same old ground, but they fucking nail it. Randy sounds fantastic and the band matches the vibe just right. “Overlord” and one of the other new LoG songs, “512,” give me GREAT hope that VII: Sturm Und Drang is going to be a phenomenal album that’s the next step in the evolution of this band.

As for the video itself, it’s cool, but… why don’t get your head out of your stupid phone and watch it for yourself?
