Video: Kevin Lyman Responds to Warped Tour Controversy

MetalSucks video correspondent Brian Storm headed out to the Virginia Beach stop of Warped Tour last week. Hold your tongues for now — we know that most Warped Tour bands don’t appeal to the majority of the MS populace — because Storm snagged an interview with Warped founder and head honcho Kevin Lyman, the man who also happened to create a little metal tour called the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.

The chat that followed is incredibly engaging; Lyman is quite the accomplished man and has plenty to say. Storm didn’t ask Lyman about his comments concerning metal getting “gray, bald and fat” since the interview was conducted the same day those comments came to light, but the two did talk at length about the recent controversy surrounding several Warped YouTubers being accused of sexual harassment and other disturbing behavior.
