Fit For an Autopsy Rub it in Your “Saltwound”
You guys listened to the new Fit For An Autopsy jam “Absolute Hope Absolute Hell,” right? And you all agree that it rips, pummels, brutalizes, destroys and <insert metal adjective here>s faces, correct?
Then try “Saltwound” on for size, the latest from the New Jersey death metallers’ forthcoming album Absolute Hope Absolute Hell. This one’s a bit more atmospheric, post-metaly and melodic than the title track, but I’d argue that it does no less good of a job at <insert metal adjective here>ing your brains than the former. And there is an absolutely KILLER Gojira / Morbid Angel-style pick scrapey part towards the end that takes whatever heaviness you think you knew and ups it tenfold.
Absolute Hope Absolute Hell comes out on October 2 on eOne/Good Fight. Catch FFAA on tour with The Acacia Strain in November and December.
