Iron Reagan Couldn’t Give a “Rat Shit” About You

Because of their no-holds-barred disgustingness and their ties to Municipal Waste, Iron Reagan are often viewed as a funny band. And rightly so — guys are happy to hock loogies in the face of propriety in the name of good hardcore punk.

But the new video for their song, “Rat Shit,” isn’t the goof-off footage you may expect. Instead, it takes viewers to a cabin in the woods where someone in a carefully-assembled suit and, yup, a Ronnie Reagan mask, has decided to take the media world into their own hands. There’s no big joke ending or hilarious band behavior or smoking barrels of toxic waste — it’s just a straightforward horror story. Which is kind of impressive, given how easily the band could’ve just rested on all those cliches.
