You Can See Mike Portnoy Play His Hello Kitty Drum Kit Live

Remember when Mike Portnoy played all those metal songs on a Hello Kitty drum kit? Wasn’t that hilarious? We all had a good chuckle. What fun.

But guess what, it’s more than a viral video now. As you can see in the video below, Mike pulled out his tiny kit and went apeshit for the crowd at a Winery Dogs show in Nashville last week. Apparently, he’s been bringing the kit out at select shows. Will you be present at a live performance of an Internet video? Guess you’ll have to buy Winery Dogs tickets and find out.

Observe the silliness below (thanks to everyone blocking the view with their phone most of the time, I’m sure the other concert-goers fucking loved you too). Whether or not Mike will also go on a loud rant about how horrible his fans are remains to be seen.
