“The Night Eternal” Video: a Friendly Reminder That At the Gates are Awesome

So here I am, in the middle of putting together my Best Of list for 2015, and what should arrive in my inbox? A new music video for one of my favorite tracks from my pick for Best Metal Album of 2014!

Specifically: a video for “Night Eternal,” the epicer-than-epic closing track from At the Gates’ At War with Reality. The animated clip is just good enough that you wish it were a little better — there’s some interesting imagery, but it’s definitely aided by the marvelous song. It’s still better, than most metal videos, though, and it’s not like you can really have too much At the Gates in your life.
