Fear Factory’s Tour Bus Crashes in Germany
Update, 1:45 p.m.: Dino Cazares has e-mailed the following to MetalSucks:
“All shows will continue as scheduled. No shows will be canceled!
“To everyone who expressed their well wishes and concerns to us today, THANK YOU!
“The event of this morning was a shock to us all. Our driver was professional and made sure that everyone was fine, and then dealt with the bus. The bus company has gone above and beyond to accommodate us and maintain our comfort. They have also advised us that our bus will be returned to us in one week. The damage looks big, but easily fixed.
“Thank you again.
“Fear Factory loved your support!”
This is excellent news!
Original story follows…
One American band that didn’t cancel their European tour after the Paris attacks: Fear Factory. They are — excuse the pun — fearless. Once you’ve watched Dino Cazares eat seven pizza pies in ten minutes, nothing is scary.
Well… almost nothing.
We’ve seen time and again — very recently, in fact — how bad these kinds of accidents can be. So for all the shit we give Dino and Burton, we’re glad that no one was hurt.
Will this impact the tour? The band hasn’t said. They’re supposed to play in Munich tonight and Aarau, Switzerland tomorrow… I guess we’ll see what happens.
