“Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” Gone Metal

0

If you live on planet Earth in the year 2015 then you already know “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, a Christmas classic heard on TV and at malls this time of year ad infinitum.

But surely you’ve never heard “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” LIKE THIS.

Gear Gods has the premiere of this most darkened version of the song, put together by YouTube recording artist Kontra5t. Like all truly good metal covers of non-metal songs, this one doesn’t just take the original version and add distorted guitars and some blast beats; the artist (also known as Wyatt Parrish) has some taken some liberties with the composition and metalled it up in a whole bunch of different ways.

Merry Christmas, bitches.
