Axl Rose Enjoying New Occupation As a French Flag

Wondering what Axl Rose has been up to since Guns N’ Roses last performed in 2014? Well, if this picture taken with a fan last week is any indication, he’s been working as a French flag.

With a reunion with at least part of the original GN’R impending*, it’s good to know that Rose is getting in shape**. Although it may seem like a minor detail, I’d also point out that he has shaved the Yosemite Sam facial hair he’s been sporting in the Chinese Democracy era, and now looks a lot more like (an admittedly wider version of) the Axl Rose most people remember. This, I assure you, is not a coincidence. The marketing for this reunion is going to prey on our nostalgia with an aggressiveness seconded only by the ad campaign for the new Star Wars movie.

That marketing, BTW, kicks off next week: Rolling Stone reports that Rose will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live next week to discuss the reunion. The singer previously appeared on that program in 2012 (video below).

*A reunion about which Axl looks SUPER excited.
**At least, I assume he’s getting in shape — maybe that’s just how he dresses now.
