Listen: Venomous Concept Cover David Bowie’s “Suffragette City”

Obviously, whether or not this cover of “Suffragette City” by grind supergroup Venomous Concept is the “best” metal ribute to David Bowie so far or not is a matter of opinion… but I am of the opinion that, yes, it is the best tribute to David Bowie so far, at least in the metal community. For one thing, it meets the requirement for any good cover, which is that the band put their own spin on the material while managing to maintain some elements that are recognizable from the original (in other words, it’s creative, but not a cover in name only). And for another thing, it rocks.
