Stream Theater: Listen to Dream Theater’s Double-Disc Rock Opera The Astonishing in Its Entirety!

It’s here! After months of teasing, a couple of singles and one super-cheesy/awesome CGI trailer, Dream Theater’s double-disc rock opera, The Astonishing, is out now and available to stream.

Dream Theater fanboy as I am, I actually haven’t had a chance to sit down and listen to this thing all the way through yet… and with 34 tracks of awesomeness, this is an album that requires a dedicated sit-down. But Metal Injection’s Frank Godla, who may geek out even harder to DT than I do, says it’s their best work in years, and MS video reviewer Crash Thompson absolutely loved it too even though he’s never been the biggest fan of the band. What other endorsements could I, or you, possibly need?

Stream The Astonishing below and order it here. If you’re into high-resolution audio, grab it from HDtracks — along with several other Dream Theater titles — for 15% off using coupon code DREAMTHEATERSUCKS at checkout.

And don’t forget to listen to our in-depth interview with James LaBrie on the MetalSucks Podcast.
