Former Black Witchery Guitarist Steve “Tregenda” Childers Dead at 49
According to Metal Insider, former Black Witchery guitarist Steve Childers, AKA Tregenda, was killed in a van accident last night. He was 49.
Childers played with Black Witchery from 1997 (when the band was still ‘Witchery’) till 2013, and played on such classic albums as 2005’s Upheaval of Satanic Might, one of the greatest black/death albums of all time. He was playing in death-thrash act Public Assassin at the time of his death.
