Wes Scantlin Claims Concertgoer Stole His House, Ends Show Early

0

Wes Scantlin, singer of briefly-famous nu metal band Puddle of Mudd, is a nonstop trainwreck. Whether he’s getting arrested for riding a baggage carousel or beating his wife, Wes always has something up his sleeve to further embarrass himself and piss all over whatever legacy he might have left. So what’s on the docket today? Why, accusing a concertgoer of stealing his house, of course!

Loudwire reports that during a Puddle of Mudd show at the Adelphia Music Hall in Marietta, OH, Scantlin stopped the band mid-song and went on a semi-intelligible rant claiming that a concert-goer had stolen his house. Then he put on his jacket and left. What a guy!

Here’s a basic transcript of Wes’ biting insults:

“Motherfucker right here stole my motherfucking house and now he’s standing right fucking in front of me laughing at me. And he fucking figures I’m a fucking joke…This motherfucker right here. This motherfucker right here. Get his ass on camera. Right. Get his ass on camera. Get his ass on camera. This is the dog. Right here. This is the motherfucker right here. This guy stole my fucking house.”

We believe Wes is referencing his former home, which was foreclosed on last year and which he was arrested for breaking into with a hatchet. Whether the fan in the front row was some sort of banker who worked on the foreclosure, or the person currently living in the house, or perhaps some evil figment of Scantlin’s drug-addled imagination (I’m picturing a clown with sharp teeth and a wad of money in one hand, Scantlin’s keys in the other), we don’t really know. And I’m not sure it matters.

You can watch footage of the incident below captured by a fan in the crowd. Stay tuned for Wes’ next adventure, where he slaps a baby or offers heroin to his parole officer or something else you’d assume no human being was stupid and crazy enough to do.
