Watch the Trailer for Babymetal’s Metal Resistance

On April 1, 2016 A.D., Babymetal will fulfill their promise of being a real-life Wyld Stallyns by forever changing the world with the release of their second album, Metal Resistance. It’s hard to write about this album because I have little doubt that it will be such a game changer as to render language irrelevant; just thinking about it brings a tear to my eye.

The band has now released a trailer for the album, which you can check out below. It features a snippet of the album’s first single — the wonderfully-titled “KARATE” — and even just listening to that snippet is like a religious experience. I think this must be what it’s like when priests and nuns hear “the calling,” right?
