If there’s one thing we love here at MetalSucks HQ, it’s all-star jams! Nothing gets us going like a bunch of killer modern metal musicians getting up on stage and jamming out on some of the old classics. Gotta pay homage to the greats, you know?

We wish there were more such jams like the one that took place at Hollywood’s Whiskey-a-Go-Go on March 29th featuring Tommy Vext (ex-Divine Heresy, Vext), Ira Black (Lizzy Borden), Monte Pittman (Madonna), Jerry Montano (Danzig, Hellyeah) and Dio Britto (Westfield Massacre). That’s a fucking stacked band lineup, right?? And who better for them to pay tribute to than fucking PANTERA, the greatest of the great, true beholders of real American beliefs? Heidi Shepherd of Butcher Babies, a band who are totally pushing metal in new directions, joined Vext on stage for a duet of “Fucking Hostile” — more like Fucking Perfect, amirite??

Watch fan-filmed footage of the performance below. For good measure, we’ve included footage of the core band performing Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” too.
