“Nattesferd” Sure: Kvelertak Unveils Title Track

Kvelertak’s forthcoming third album might have you in the grips of suspense. After all, it seemed to some that the band’s 2010 debut shot like a rocket from a bottle — but was followed by a damp squib of a sophomore outing in 2013. So here in 2016, has a hot band learned to deliver amid expectations, like Babymetal and Ghost? Has renown changed them to people who aren’t awesome at music? Is there a different route to renewed momentum?

Hard to tell at this point. The new album’s title track popped up Friday and might be the last we hear of it until its release Friday; it’s hard to recall the last time their label did an advance album stream.
