Sound Artists Meek is Murder Tease v.v. Experimental New Album

0

What do we know so far about Meek is Murder’s next album Was? Well, we know that the band just wrapped up recording with Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios and the album was mastered by Alan Douches, the same winning combo behind all of Meek’s full-lengths. We know the album is about the internal struggle of dealing with our past, as articulated by guitarist/vocalist Mike Keller:

Typical humans, we think about the past a lot. We romanticize it to reconcile a disappointing present. We re-write history so it reads the way we wish it went. We black it out when it’s just too much. And worst of all, we forget. It’s a struggle to appreciate the good things or recognize the negative ones at the time they occur.

And, thanks to an enlightening new video trailer, we know that the three dudes who comprise this Brooklyn trio went to great lengths to make Was the most experimental, craziest, outside-the-box Meek is Murder release to date. Watch:
