Video: Jared Dines and Jared Dines and Eric “Erock” Calderone Perform Guns N’ Roses Songs in Various Metal Styles

Capitalizing on the massive success of the current Guns N’ Roses semi-reunion, two of metal’s most beloved YouTube personalities, Jared Dines and Eric “Erock” Calderone, have teamed up for a video exploring the possibilities of playing various GN’R songs in various styles of metal. The ones that work the best are “Mr. Brownstone” as a sludge metal song, “November Rain” as a black metal song, and “Welcome to the Jungle” as a thrash song — all of which kinda make sense. The one which works the least-best is “Sweet Child O’ Mine” as a hair metal song, because it was already a hair metal song. On the whole, though, this is just as much fun as you’d expect it to be.
