The New Grim Reaper Track Will Get Your Fist Pumping
Isn’t it always that the bands we make fun of the most are also the most awesome? Sure, you can call some classic second-string NWOBHM outfits cheesy and stupid, but it doesn’t change the fact that they fucking slay.
Case in point, we’ve given Grim Reaper plenty of shit over the years, but they’ve just released “Walking In The Shadows,” their first new track in almost thirty years, and it’s just killer. Chuggy, grandiose, and full of insane and somewhat unnecessary guitar acrobatics, this track is exactly what you want from a classic metal band. Sure, if you’re looking for nuance and biting social commentary you’re shit out of luck, but that would also raise the question as to why the Hell you clicked this link in the first place. This post is about getting in the van and going to score a cheap dimer from a guy who calls himself Belial.
Blast “Walking In The Shadows” below and keep the dream alive. Grim Reaper’s new album by the same name comes out September 23rd via Dissonance Records. You can pre-order it here.
