In case you’re wondering what went into the creation of the musician who wrote the second-best song called “My Way” ever, guitarist Wes Borland has now revealed ‘The 10 Albums That Changed’ my life to Metal Hammer. Most of Borland’s choices won’t surprise you (The Cure, Fever Ray, the Miami Vice soundtrack, etc.), some actual metal made it onto the list, too. For example:

Carcass – Descanting the Insalubrious (1991)
“They’re one of the bands that I’ve held on to. I don’t listen to much metal any more but Carcass and Death have stuck with me through the years. I saw them in the House Of Blues and people don’t usually move for LA shows but that place was insane.”

So, there ya have it. Even Wes Borland loves Carcass. I bet Jeff Walker is tickled pink.
