The Enigmatic Avenged Sevenfold Tease Continues

Last week, fans around North America and Europe started spotting Avenged Sevenfold Deathbats being projected onto the sides of buildings, and the world wondered, “What does this mean?”

Today, Avenged Sevenfold released the below image, and the world, I suspect, is gonna be like, “Huh? We still don’t get it.”

So, uh… any theories as to what the hell this means? Crossing out everyone’s face is usually something us media folk do to indicate that a musician has left a band, but it seems highly unlikely that everyone is leaving Avenged Sevenfold and this is how they’ve chosen to tell the world. I guess it’s possible they’re going to announce that their next album and tour will be their last, but that also seems unlikely to me.

Maybe the new Avenged Sevenfold album is called Avenged Sevenfold is Dead or something? I dunno, now I’m really reaching.

Presumably, we’ll know what the what is going on here soon. In the meantime, feel free to speculate in the comments section below.
