Anaal Nathrakh - The Whole of the Law

There’s an old interview where Steven Spielberg says the reason he signed on to direct the comedy 1941 was because the screenplay, by eventual Back to the Future creators Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, was punctuated with scores and scores of exclamation marks. If the writers were that excited about the material, Spielberg thought, the script must be good.

Sadly, 1941 ended up being a notorious bomb. Still, Spielberg’s logic applies to “Extravaganza!”, the new song from Anaal Nathrakh. Shit sounds like King Diamond and Emperor were trapped in a recording studio with nothing to sustain them but bath salts. The British duo were 100% correct in being so excited about this material as to put an exclamation point in the title.

See what all the excitement is about: listen to “Extravaganza!” below, courtesy of Terrorizer. The song will appear on Anaal Nathrakh’s new album, The Whole of the Law, which comes out October 28th via Metal Blade. Pre-order it here.
