MetalSucks Presents: Alcest’s Kodama North American Tour 2017, with The Body and Creepers
Transcendental. Out of body. Ethereal. Spacey. Blackgaze. Aural tongue bath. All are words or phrases that’ve been used to describe Alcest’s captivating music… well, that last one maybe just by us.
To listen to Alcest’s music on record is one thing, an absolutely fantastic experience to be sure. But to see them live and in the flesh is another: until you’ve witnessed Alcest perform, closed your eyes and allowed yourself to be swept up by their cosmic rays, you haven’t REALLY experienced this band. “Transcendental” and “out of body” are not exaggerations.
MetalSucks will be sponsoring Alcest’s first North American tour in support of their recently-released album Kodama, and we couldn’t be more pumped. The Body and Creepers will be along for the ride, providing a more-than-ample warm-up for fans to get into the right headspace for Alcest.
