Video: Guy Sleeps on Stage During a Doom Band’s Entire Set

I know plenty of folks who claim doom metal is boring, that it “literally” — in today’s parlance — puts them to sleep. Those people, for the most part, avoid going to doom shows.

And then there’s the guy in the red shirt in the below video, who decided to trek out to see Fórn on the night of December 30th… and then spent their entire set sitting slumped over, passed out, on the front of the stage.

Commented the band via Facebook, “Apparently, 3am is too late of a set time for some people, like the dude who is passed out on stage the entire time that somehow none of us realized. Can somebody check on him and make sure he’s not dead?”

“Hey I’m that guy and I’m still alive unfortunately,” a commenter responded, according to Spin, although the comment has since been removed. “I really dug everything I heard though even though I looked like the Minor threat guy.”

Another commenter noted that the kid in red vomited about halfway through the set, although we can’t find that moment on the video, which was filmed by Frank Huang of Pit Full of Shit.

Either way: we hope you’re doing alright, buddy. We’ve all been there.
