Exclusive Track Premiere: Tiger Flowers, “Court of Vultures”

0

It has now been TEN years of rock and roll for NYC metal/grind/noise outfit Tiger Flowers. We here at MetalSucks are proud to have called ourselves fans of theirs for at least two-thirds of that time; our first article on the band was published in January of 2010, and although we’d surely seen them play live even before then it’s all a blur of whiskey, weed and riffs.

So it’s with great honor that we’ll host the band at the upcoming MetalSucks 10th Anniversary Bash in NYC next month — alongside So Hideous, Meek is Murder and Black Table — and that today we premiere their brand new song, “Court of Vultures.” The track comes from Tiger Flowers’ forthcoming EP, which they’re planning on releasing later this year, and it’s as nasty, visceral, frenetic and crushing as anything they’ve done to date. Elsewhere on the upcoming EP, So Hideous’s Chris Cruz lends guest vocals to a track; perhaps they’ll debut that one live at the show?

Stream “Court of Vultures” below, follow Tiger Flowers on Facebook and stay tuned for more info on the EP release.
