Here’s Ripping Footage of “War Eternal” from Arch Enemy’s New Live DVD

No matter how many times I see it mentioned, I keep forgetting that Jeff Loomis’s Hair is now in Arch Enemy. What a Voltron-like addition of prettiness!

Watching this clip of “War Eternal” from Wacken 2016 also reminds me that it’s been way too long since I’ve seen Arch Enemy live. So. Damn. Tight! And while I think I’ve only seen them once in the Alissa White-Gluz era — and as a big fan of Angela Gossow — I’ve got to say she’s a phenomenal frontwoman. Hopefully AE hit the road hard in 2017.

The clip comes from the band’s upcoming Blu-ray/DVD As The Stages Burn, which features their entire Wacken performance and a behind-the-scenes look at their time at the festival last year. The set comes out on March 31st via Century Media.
