Watch: Drunk Avenged Sevenfold Perform at an Empty Hard Rock Cafe in Finland

0

I’ve never been to Helsinki, but Google is awash with fun things to do and places to see in Finland’s largest city. When all else fails, I’ll bet there are some fantastic local watering holes in which to satiate one’s thirst for sweet, delicious alcohol.

But on a recent day off on their European tour, Avenged Sevenfold decided to go to that bastion of Finnish authenticity: The Hard Rock Cafe. Make of that what you will.

At some point in the night the idea began circulating that the band (minus second guitarist Zacky Vengeance, who wasn’t present) would take to the Hard Rock’s tiny stage to play a song, and eventually they went up for a stripped down rendition of “Nightmare” using all house gear to the adoring crowd of basically no one.

If you’re one of those people who despises Avenged Sevenfold and puts them on the same level as child molesters, this is your chance to imagine a reality in which they were never anything more than your average bar band. Schadenfreude! For the rest of us it’s pretty cool to watch them play like this. Go:
