Decapitated Announce New Album; Listen to the First Single Here

Cause for celebration this morning: Decapitated have announced that they’ll release a new album, Anticult, on July 7 via Nuclear Blast… AND they’ve released the first single from that album, “Never.” I think it’s about listening to Thy Art is Murder.

Kidding aside, the song is unsurprisingly gnarly. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that it’s brutal — Decapitated ain’t exactly known for their power ballads — but it’s also got an unexpected dose of groove, too. It definitely suggests that Decapitated have another winner on their hands.
