This New Integrity Song Will Cast a “Spell” on You

The metallic hardcore heavyweights in Integrity have revealed that they’ll release their twelfth studio album, Howling, For The Nightmare Shall Consume, on July 14 via Relapse. According to a press release, the record is “A conceptual foretelling of the final days of Armageddon.” Put another way, it’s a concept album about next Tuesday.

The band has also release “I Am the Spell,” the first single from the album. It is a homicidally aggressive furnace explosion of a song; I’m especially digging the guitar solo, which sounds kinda like a Slayer solo if Slayer solos were coherent.

Check out “I Am the Spell” below! If you dig it, you can pre-order Howling, For The Nightmare Shall Consume here. European and Japanese readers should note that the band has a bunch of shows coming up in your vicinity real soon! Tour dates are at the bottom of this post.
