Exclusive Track Premiere: Wildspeaker’s “Cinders”

More often than not these days, it feels like we’re experiencing The End. And I don’t mean the label — I mean The END End, as in, “The End of Days.” Shit is seriously fucked up and we’re clearly at a tipping point where it’s either going to get better or we’re all totally fucked.

How appropriate, then, that Dallas’ Wildspeaker says their new album, Spreading Adder, “focuses on the resilience of nature and downfall of human civilization.” The record’s lead single, “Cinders,” certainly feels like the soundtrack for the end of the world: it’s a grinding, crusty, charcoal black misanthrope’s acidic wet dream, the kind of song that will flatten you like an eighteen-wheeler hauling another eighteen wheeler. “Intense” doesn’t do the track justice. If the world really is ending, at least, thanks to Wildspeaker, it will go out with one crazy motherfuckin’ moshpit.

MetalSucks is proud to debut “Cinders,” which you can check out below! Spreading Adder will be Wildspeaker’s debut for Prosthetic Records. It comes out June 23. Pre-order it here! The band also has a whole buncha tour dates scheduled throughout June and July. Get ’em at the bottom of this post!!!
