Slipknot Announce Day of the Gusano Documentary

  • Axl Rosenberg

As it turns out, Slipknot’s big announcement isn’t a new iteration of Knotfest Mexico — it’s a documentary about Knotfest Mexico. It’s called Day of the Gusano — gusano, of course, being Spanish for ‘maggot’ — and was filmed at Knotfest Mexico 2015.

Here’s a trailer…

…and here’s a behind-the-scenes video, which is in Spanish, but maybe you know Spanish or just love Slipknot so much you wanna watch it despite not being able to comprehend what anyone is saying:

Day of the Gusano will get one of those “one night only” screenings in actual movie theaters on September 6; it will presumably be released on home video that Friday, September 8, but don’t quote me on that yet.
